This photo gallery originates from a recent private home concert and is an accurate description in photographs of the private concert held in a typical home.

Located in the midwest, this lovely home was the site of the private concert from which this photo gallery originates. The private home concert is a unique and intimate evening - be it in an average home or an estate.

Photos of the desserts at the evening concert. Generally, the dessert and coffee segment of the evening is before the start of the concert and lasts about 30 minutes. For this evening concert, the host had a local baker make several cakes which were brought in for the evening. The china and serving utensils were brought in by a catering company. The candles you see in the following photographs are battery operated and are permitted by the insurers.

Serviceware for the desserts being served at a private concert. Disposable serviceware is discouraged except in The Artists' Neighborhood concerts.

The living room where the evening concert will be held before set up. Note that the ONLY piece of furniture that has been removed is the coffee table which was located in front of the sofa. This living room is an average sized living room common to most homes. In the photo, it appears larger then it actually is due to the wide angle lens being used. While the insurers do not allow for lit candles, battery operated candles (such as you see in this photograph) are permitted.

Note the art hanging above the fireplace and the art on the four easles. Easles are not required nor is wall space for hanging art. Any home concert should not be for less than 25 guests. To view The Christian Thomas Lee Collection of Fine Art, please visit www.themercyfoundation.com.

Prior to guests arriving, the room is now set up for 48 guests. Seven chairs are not visible as they are out of range of the camera. Please have the room set up prior to guests arriving.

Again, please note how the room was left intact with a minimal removal of furniture. Concert seating was added around the existing furniture.

Forty-eight guests are seated and the concert is underway.

The concert has just concluded. Note the art on the fireplace mantle which was shared with the audience during the program. For this particular concert, over 15 pieces of art were present.

A basket of customized CDs to be given to guests at the conclusion of an evening concert. The CD is a 72 minute compilation of Christian's music recorded in Canada and Australia. The CD is not available in stores and is exclusive to the private concert. Please visit 'Music For Your Guests' on the menu page for more information.
